Our design team at Layered Elements has hand selected these products because we love them, but we understand that you may need to make a return. We accept returns within 30 DAYS of purchase, with proof of purchaseWe do not offer refunds. No Exceptions.



Layered Elements gladly accepts returns within 30 days of purchase, with tags attached, for credit in the form of a gift card which does not expire. We do not offer refunds. No Exceptions. Our customers are responsible for return shipping.  Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.




At Layered Elements we believe that decorating is fun and shouldn’t be saved just for the holidays!  We acknowledge that there’s more to decorating than merely what’s on trend, and not everyone has the same style and taste.  For this reason, we offer custom orders for clients. If we don’t have what you’re looking for in our shop, we would love to help you find it!

We do offer a free 30 minute consultation. During this consultation, our designers coordinate with clients to discuss the details of the design the client is looking to accomplish. Our interior designers will then work on a plan and layout for each room as well as finding furniture to accommodate your space. A design can take 1-2 weeks to complete. Should you choose to not work with our designers after the consultation and design ideas have been completed, there will be a fee to cover the hours spent on each room/project.


Shipping & Returns



We strive to have all in-stock items shipped as quickly as possible and will be sent off within 1-2 business days.

Lead time and shipping varies depending on the product. Information will be specified in each product's description. Please note, changes to an address and/or any other changes cannot be made after your order has been confirmed.

Carrier tracking information will be provided once shipped. Transit times vary depending on product and location. Once shipped, you should expect your order to arrive in 2-7 business days.

Our customers are responsible for return shipping. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.



Our team works hard to update our site as often as possible to reflect the most accurate stock and estimated shipping time frames. Changes to an estimated shipping time frame attributed to a delay in production may occur and are subject to change. Our team will notify you of any changes to the item(s) in your order and ship any available items right away.



Please allow an additional 5-7 days for fulfillment and delivery, unless otherwise specified on the product page. Due to the custom nature of our pieces, all artwork sales are final



Most of our rugs, subject to availability, typically take about 1-3 weeks to fulfill. We do not ship rugs, they are all available for pick-up only, unless otherwise specified on the product page. Please allow another week if you choose delivery.  Please note: All rugs are final sale.



Most lighting, subject to availability, should ship between 2-5 business days from the date of your order, unless otherwise specified on the product page. Please allow another week for delivery.



All furniture sales are final. Please note, back order dates are subject to change based on manufacturer production. Our team will provide notifications on impacted items as soon as we receive them. We cannot accept returns on any furniture purchases. Furniture is carefully inspected prior to shipment, but we understand damages can occur, and we ask that you inspect your order upon receipt. Please note any damages at the time of delivery.

If a defect is discovered and/or delivery is refused, please contact our team within 24 hours. Layered Elements will work to replace the item or issue you store credit.  Furniture that is refused will be exchanged for merchandise or store credit only.  We cannot cancel orders for merchandise once it has been transmitted to our vendors. Furniture that is refused due to non-damage or defect related feedback will be issued store credit as a refund lesser the original shipping and handling fee charges, as well as a 15% restocking fee, and any return shipping fees.



PLEASE NOTE: We do not deliver outside of a 30 mile radius from our store.  Please contact us about our delivery fee. 

Most of our furniture and artwork, in addition to large items, will be delivered by our delivery team if you are unable to pick up in-store. 

If in stock, most pieces will be delivered within 1-2 weeks of order receipt, unless otherwise specified.  Custom orders can usually be delivered within 2-6 weeks unless otherwise specified.

Once ready to be delivered, a representative from our store will reach out to you directly to schedule a time that works for both you and our delivery team to deliver your piece. The delivery team will assist in moving and placing the piece in the desired space of your home (no more than one flight of stairs). Please note: every delivery has an additional fee. The fee covers the cost of moving the piece into the desired space and does not include package material removal or assembly.

This fee does not include White Glove Delivery services

Before your appointment, please make sure the walkway and the area where you’d like the item placed are clear. The delivery team cannot move existing furniture to make room for the new item. The team is also unable to remove unwanted furniture or make any modifications to your home/space.

Damages to the merchandise while in transit, or defects in manufacturing are rare, but occasionally do happen. Should your piece arrive with a defect or damage we will do our very best to have a replacement shipped out to you as soon as possible. 

Please fully inspect your furniture at the time of purchase in the store and upon delivery arrival.  Please note any damage or defect to our team within 24 hours, so that we may file a claim and include in your delivery documents.

If you refuse your furniture, artwork, lighting, rug, or mirror delivery due to damage or defect, the piece will be brought back to the store. We will then review and evaluate the condition of the piece. Please note, the claims process for damaged furniture, artwork, lighting, rugs, and mirrors takes 2-3 weeks to finalize and issue a replacement. Our team will work hard to have a replacement issued and shipped as soon as possible. Furniture that is refused due to non-damage or defect related feedback will be issued store credit as a refund, this does not include the delivery fee and may be less than the original price for an additional 15% restocking fee.
